First I want to say thank you if you are reading this, whether you just stumbled upon my page, here because you can relate to some of my life experiences, or are just nosey and want to read about my life.
Few things about me:
- Mom to a crazy 2.5 year old
- USAF ~ 6 years
- Currently living in North Dakota
- Home is Montana
- Aspiring to be a Safety Professional
- Hopeless Romantic – Sorry Austin
I am sure as I continue to write, that list will become longer, but that’s my “gist”.
I grew up in a small town in Montana and I knew at a young age that I did not want to get stuck there. I lived in a trailer until I was 9 years old, then we moved to a house, which quickly became my home filled with lots of not so great memories, but that’s for a different post. I lived there with my Mom, Dad, Step Sister, and Brother.
I went on a cruise for my High School graduation and that was the spark to my interest in traveling. I haven’t made it too far yet, but I have some huge goals for the next few years.
About six months after graduation I left for Basic Training for the Air Force. I left my small town behind, my first relationship, my family, and all my friends. I honestly can say that was the best decisions I’ve ever made. To anyone who feels stuck and they haven’t left where they grew up – change that. Go somewhere new, live away from home. It puts a lot of things into prospective.
The Air Force didn’t take me far from home, just to Idaho, then Alaska, and now North Dakota (destined for the Northwest).
I wanted to start a blog to let out some of my thoughts that I didn’t know how else to let out. To write about family members that continuously let me down, to everyday stupid sh*t. So this may not be a very well thought out blog, but I promise somewhere in here someone can relate.
I cuss (whoops), there will be some really strong opinions about sensitive subjects, and a lot of “being a mom” issues. I’m not an English major, but I’ll do my best.
